Playing outdoors is an important part of your child's early year's journey. Both the Caterpillar and Butterfly rooms open out onto our outdoor area. Come rain or shine your child will spend a large portion of their time outdoors so pack the wellies for the rain and bring the sunscreen and a hat for the sunny days.
Outdoors there is a mud kitchen for your child to create mud pies and mix potions, a large sand pit and digging area for your child to do some heavy work. Balancing beams and obstacle courses help your child with their coordination. We have a large selection of loose parts ( reels, tubes, small tyres, pebbles, sticks and much more) to ignite your child's imagination and creativity. We have opportunities to draw, paint, make marks with chalk, ride bikes, make dens and our stage area provides a platform for your child to try out their singing voices and their dancing skills.
